About Kelly Kettle Ultimate Kits

The Kelly Kettle Ultimate Stainless Base Camp Kit includes the Stainless Steel Base Camp Kettle, Storage Bag, Cook set, Kelly Kettle Pot Support, 2 Stainless Steel Camping Cups, 2 Stainless Steel Camping Plates and large Hobo Stove.

The Base Camp stainless steel camp kettle boils approximately 54 oz of water at a time – that’s about nine – 6 oz. mugs of water for camp coffee, tea or hot cocoa. The large Base Camp Kettle will bring water to a boil within a matter of minutes. The best camping kettle for large groups, base camping, family camping, hunting, fishing, scouting, car camping, picnics, outdoor education. Base Camp kettles are ideal for emergency preparedness kits, humanitarian aid stations, or anyone working in the forests or the great outdoors.

Introducing a Camping Kettle with Whistle

A green whistle has replaced the orange stopper on the Kettles and will sound a nice loud whistle to let you know when the water has boiled. Older Kelly Kettles may have an Orange Rubber or Cork Stopper. These MUST ALWAYS be removed before using the kettle. The Kettle must never be boiled with these older stoppers in the spout, but the new camping kettle with whistle can be left in while the water is boiling.

Best Camping Kettle in Bad Weather

All Kelly Kettle products are the best kettle for camping as they work extremely well in stormy weather conditions. They are a vital piece of camping equipment for any outdoor adventure. Extremely dependable as they have no moving parts to fail or break.

Burn All Natural Fuel

Never pack fuel again and save money. Kelly Kettles are cost free to run and eco-friendly, as they use all natural fuel such as twigs, dry grass, heather, birch bark, pine cones, dry animal dung, etc. Remember: The Kettle has been designed to boil water extremely fast in all weather conditions using very little fuel. When filled with water, the Kelly Kettle should always be carried upright to avoid any spillage/leakage from the water spout or chimney top.

Kelly Kettle users have described their kettles as the “Greatest Invention of all Time”.

Kelly Kettle Ultimate Kits are absolutely the best value when purchasing Kelly Kettle products!

Note: The fire bases invert partially up into the bottom of our Kelly Kettles to make the unit as compact as possible for transporting and storage. Normally, the fire base will not invert fully up into the kettle. This is particularly evident with the Medium size Kelly Kettle. Never force the inverted base up into the Kelly Kettle to try and achieve a “Perfect Fit.” This may cause damage to your Kelly Kettle or result in the base becoming stuck within the kettle.

A compact little portable cooking system that is ideal for cooking outside or just boiling water for freeze-dried meals w/o power. I love this little set. It’s amazing. It works on TWIGS or any tiny combustible item that you would generally use to start a tiny fire. It comes with a hobo cooking setup so you can cook on it or just boil water to cook freeze-dried meals sold in camping stores and online. It comes with a storage bag and the cooking utensils you need to cook with it if you don’t want to risk ruining your regular cooking pots and pans, but they would work on it too. Small, compact, easy to store, and very handy for cooking or for emergency power outages.

Must have for the outdoorsman! An amazing addition to our outdoor arsenal! Sticks are often easy to find and so is trash. Build a quick easy fire, maintain it, and in a few minutes, you have HOT water! Once finished, the unit cools quickly and packs up tightly for storage.

A great rocket boiler. Going camping or just want it as a survival backup, this kettle is incredible. Think of a rocket stove/kettle because that’s what it is. The size is big, water-wise and you can easily boil enough water for a few dehydrated meals. This is highly efficient so you’re not going to need to be hunting for logs. A little bit of fuel goes a long way. The kit has enough to get dinner done minus the water and fuel. It’s solidly constructed and should give years of use.

Perfect For Survival! Uses garbage as fuel, just like the Delorian from Back To The Future. The Kelly Kettle Base Camp kit is the ultimate survival kettle and cook set because you don’t need any fuel tanks or propane to use it. With no experience, I took this thing into the backyard and set up to make myself a cup of coffee using only twigs, leaves, and litter that had blown into my urban yard. With the help of a lighter, I was able to get this thing going white-hot with just biomass from the yard. I did end up making a cup of coffee, unfortunately, my first batch also was a cup of soot. Some great uses I can think of for the Kelly Kettle Base Camp Kit: 1) Filming a movie, 2) Camping in the back yard with your kids, and 3) Pretending you are a hobo. The Kelly Kettle is the ultimate gift for the hunter, outdoorsman, or homeless person in your life.

One Kit Covers it all. When it comes to having the full kitchen in your pack, the Ultimate Scout Kit has you covered. With it, you can grill meat, boil water, fry stuff, cook soups, and likely a bunch of other things. The stove allows you to boil water in the kettle, while the pot support can sit on the top so you can use the included pot or pan. When I say boil, I mean really fast.

This is the most amazing kettle…so so easy to get going and you will have boiling water within 4 minutes…roaring boil too…took the kettle off and put it in the sink to let it cool…went back an hour later and poured the water out and it was still piping hot with steam coming up from the sink…it gets boiling hot and stays hot in this thing…truly a perfected product.

Just a fantastic and versatile meal prep set. If you want a camp meal prep set that does it all, then this is the one for you!! You have a Kettle to prep or sterilize water, you have a stove or grill, you have a pan, pot, and cups, you even have plates to eat from! You can use this to keep warm while containing your fire and the one thing you can do with this you can’t do with other cook sets is boil water while cooking! You can even take the Hobo Stove with you on day hikes and leave the rest with your campsite! Just a fantastic and versatile meal prep set!!

Ultimate Camp Cooker. PROS: I love that all the parts fit inside the main unit and then into the small bag. Perfect for camping. This is the best camp cooking unit I have used. Love that you can boil water below and cook above at the same time. CONS: This is not what I would use for backpacking. A bit of weight to it for backpacking.

Kelly Kettle Base Camp Kit is a Dream! I bought the Kelly Kettle Base Camp kit for my family camping trips, but it is too great of a kit to only use a couple of times per year. This kit efficiently uses any combustible to boil up to 54 ounces of water in 4-5 minutes and allows for additional cooking at the same time. I don’t have to plan out how much propane I may need, buy it in advance, or carry it! The rocket stove is self-contained, and once the water is boiling I slip on the hobo stove attachment to continue cooking, or just to have a small self-contained campfire. I thank God that I don’t “need” the Kelly Kettle, but I wish I could afford to give them as gifts to all of the homeless people that could really use this fantastic set-up.

Use it regularly. I say it is lightweight considering the benefits of the kits and their functionality. I don’t know how it would really get too much lighter other than titanium. Boils water super fast. Love the quality of everything down to even the cups.

An excellent camp kettle with minor drawbacks. Tested this in the backyard to make some morning oatmeal with friends. The water chamber has a very large inner surface area so the small fire we made with twigs, leaves, and bark chips off the ground had a rolling boil going in about ten minutes. We also set the small pot on top to boil some eggs, though that did not boil by the time the kettle did. This is an amazingly efficient campsite kettle and, with the hobo stove, we finished boiling the eggs in just a few minutes after removing the kettle. The hobo stove could stand to be a bit taller to get a better chimney effect but it worked well enough. There are some issues to be aware of. We filled the kettle up to just below the spout. It boiled over, sending water down into the burn chamber of the stove. This thing boils amazingly well. You’ll want to remove the kettle or lower the water level as soon as it does, or start with less water than I did. There is a lot of creosote buildup on the inner surface of the kettle, the firebox, the hobo stove and the bottom of any cookware used over it or the hobo stove. Camp cookware only! When repacking it in the bag, anything you pack in the center will be exposed to the creosote so you might want to pack a green scrubber pad to at least get the loose stuff off. This stove is going in my camping kit for sure.

What an awesome piece of equipment. I had researched a lot before making this purchase but had never used one or seen one being used (other than YouTube videos). The reality is even better. So easy to use, so effective, and fast. I’m hoping to never have to use it for anything but camping. However, one never knows when it could come in handy in some type of emergency. Great quality and the extras really amp up the functionality. Highly recommended.
